How we came up with ADZCT The way from DZCT to ADZCT
Original language description
We introduce here the new Approximated Discrete Zolotarev Cosine Transform (ADZCT) which purpose is to improve the properties of the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) in the field of non-stationary signals. The paper presents the development of the ADZCT from the Discrete Zolotarev Cosine Transform (DZCT) step by step and deals with the issues that were met during the development. It is shown that the ADZCT achieves remarkable results in detection of non-stationary signals.
