Graph and point cloud registration
Original language description
Often the texture information present on vessel and vascular structures is insufficient in order to match content in two or more images. One approach to this problem is to segment the structure, and match its geometric properties throughout the images. This can be achieved using point or graph matching techniques. A number of algorithms were tested in order to compare the performance of these approaches. We propose a technique that searches for similarities on neighborhoods of nodes, which breaks the problem into smaller tasks. On this report, we present different methods to match globally and locally graphs, together with an evaluation of each method.
