Original language description
Effects of window blind with metal-lamellas on radiowave propagation are addressed. Measurements of insertion loss at frequency range 5 - 50 GHz are presented. The measurements were done for various inclinations of lamellas of the window blind structurefor both vertical and horizontal polarization. Comparison of measurements with numerical predictions is presented. The results give idea about additional insertion loss imposed by window blinds for indoor signal reception.
