Original language description
Nowadays virtual sound source positioning finds an application in many fields. It can also be used for sound navigating, which can be among others useful for blind people navigating. Real-time changing of desired virtual sound source position in this application is expected, so it is necessary to implement some real-time method. This paper deals with real-time positioning implementation on DSP (Digital Signal Processor). Author implemented positioning on the Chameleon Device, which includes signal processor Motorola DSP56300. Although this processor is quite old, for this application it is sufficient. In the paper is described sound source localization implementing process ? from choosing localization method, through developing DSP algorithm, to correct function of implementation verification.
