RFID technology in industrial environments with risk of explosion
Original language description
We describe the issues of the safety ensuring production management in industrial environments where automation systems must be subject to strict specific regulations. Such environments can be found in many industrial sectors, we can talk about mining industry, automotive, manufacturing, handling and generally about storage of industrial gases, batteries, etc. Electrical equipment and means of automation techniques used in environments with risk of explosion are special categories of electrical equipment, which are a potential danger for the user. It is not for them only to ensure safety against electrical shock, but especially for such protection when operating in potentially explosive atmospheres where it represents a dangerous source of ignition explosion. The article pays particular attention to elements of automatic identification technology based on RFID, which can be used for tracking and identifying objects in logistics processes. The use of these identifiers in an environment
