This research evaluated an impact of flexion and extension heel pad on surface electromyography of the muscles (Vastus medialis and Vastus lateralis). For signal processing were used Ambu Blue Sensor P, Biomonitor ME6000 MegaWin and software MegaWin 700046 version 3.0. Nineteen healthy subjects of both genders (15 women ? 23.5?4.0 years, 4 men ? 32.8?11.8 years) volunteered to participate in the study. 19 parameters for evaluation were selected and calculated in MATLAB and statistical evaluation was performed in Microsoft Excel 2007. The ANOVA method followed by post hoc analysis (Tukey method) was chosen for statistical analysis.
