Model Predictive Control Mechanism for Formations of Micro Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
Original language description
This paper presents a novel approach to quadrotor UAV motion modelling for purposes of the model predictive control. The integration of mathematical model of quadrotor UAV dynamics into the formation trajectory planning method is presented in this paper. The paper is organised as follows. Firstly, the leader?follower formation driving approach is briefly introduced. Subsequently, the mathematical model and its integration into the method is presented. Finally, the proposed model?based quadrotor state prediction method is introduced. The benefits of the motion model are demonstrated on experimental results.
