    Compensation method developed for the measurement of magnetic properties of open specimens soft magnetic materials at AC magnetization could be improved by additional digital compensation feedback. The perfect compensation is required for precise measurement,because the compensation eliminates influence of imperfekt yoke and air gaps. This paper deals with analog and digital compensation of magnetomotive force drop which is represented by voltage induced in the Rogowski-Chattock potentiometer. Solutionpresented in this paper is tested on single strip tester KF9a developed at the Czech technical university in Prague.
