Magnetic circuit of high-voltage 10 kHz transformer
Original language description
A power and energy measurement in the smart grids requires a measurement system capable of signal processing at higher harmonic frequencies that are present in the power grids. For the calibration of instrument voltage transformers, resp. high-voltage dividers, it is necessary to have a high-voltage source with appropriate frequency range. The fundamental element of this source is the output high-voltage transformer operating at nominal voltage 15 kV and frequency up to 10 kHz. The output current is supposed to be lower than 20 mA. Following full paper is focused on the design of the magnetic circuit of transformer described above. With regard to easy realization of high voltage winding the C-type core shape is used. The standard magnetic cores of thistype are produced from trafoperm material with minimal sheet thickness of 0.1 mm. However, parameters of these materials, given by its producers, do not fulfill the requirement on the frequency range. The suitable magnetic material seems
