Original language description
Algorithms implementing a multi-agent coordination are growing in importance for automotive industry. Modern cars are being equipped with technologies that enable to apply automation on driving. Autonomous cars equipped with vehicle-to-vehicle communication represent a perspective decentralized, multi-agent domain. For this domain, we model the coordination of the cars as a multi-agent pathfinding problem. Asynchronous Decentralized Prioritized Planning (ADPP) is known as an algorithm to solve such a problem. Our main contribution is in application of the ADPP in the road traffic domain. We discuss specific properties of the domain with respect to the application of the ADPP. Our progress in successful integration of the concept into a simulation promises interesting future research of the topic.
