Sequential Inter-relay Games in Wireless Physical Layer Network Coding Based Networks

Result description

In this paper we assume a two relay network that serves to support sources to destinations communication. The network is assumed to be distributed (without centralised control) and based on a Wireless Physical Layer Network Coding (WPLNC) technique. Forthis scenario we provide a game theoretic solution for sequential (one relay has an observation of the actions taken by the other) selection of the individual WPLNC mappings by the relays. We assume that the first relay on the turn may suffer from low battery level and that the second relay can deduce the battery state from observed actions and alter its behaviour to correctly cope with the situation. For this scenario we evaluate and discuss an existence of sensible game equilibria.
