The principal and analysis of usage of the generalized non-active power theory for the parallel compensation of periodic and non-periodic load current disturbances is presented in the paper. The effectiveness of the generalized non-active power theory tomitigate non-periodic current disturbances is demonstrated by simulation and laboratory experiments.
