Photovoltaics towards terawatts ? progress in photovoltaic cells and modules
Original language description
Material and solar cell and module fabrication technology seem to be the most important in the field of photovoltaics, because the progress expectations in photovoltaic applications. This review is to give information important for understanding basic problems of physics, construction and manufacturing photovoltaic cells and modules and their connection with present market developments. Trends following from present technology levels are discussed. Silicon is and will remain the dominant photovoltaic material at minimum till 2020.
