*We introduce a new multi-view multi-target tracking dataset for team-sports: IIHF world championship 2015 ice hockey dataset. Motivated by the challenges posed by the dataset we present multi-view calibration procedure that takes into account zoom lenses with unknown focal length and video streams synchronization. A video sequence from a wide-angle camera overlooking the ice rink was treated with the polar to Cartesian transformation to overcome the problem with not axis aligned player bounding boxes.A proposal for future acquisitions of a multi-view team-sports dataset is made. We put emphasis on systems with zoom lenses.
