  • Original language description

    Compact radiation monitor detector consists of a motherboard with a microcontroller, HV source, level shifters, calibration circuits, USB connector and a connector for daughter board attachment. The daughter board contains a readout chip and a sensor. This radiation monitor can be used as an accessory for cell phones, tablets, PCs and any device which communicates over USB interface. It is designed to monitor x-ray and gamma flux. IT is USB powered, and it requires no other connection .Thanks to its compact size, it can be placed almost almost anywhere, where radiation monitoring is required. Using a suitable software system, it can provide early warning capabilities.
