Influence of the Rotor Resistance Change to Control Performance of an Induction Machine
Original language description
Popular control strategies of the induction machines such as field oriented control (FOC) or direct torque control (DTC) can be characterized by usage of the mathematical model of the machine they control. For proper operation of these methods, certain parameters of the model have to be obtained with suitable accuracy. However, the machine parameters change also during its operation. Deployment of the incorrect parameters can lead to lowering of the control performance. Rotor resistance of the machine has been identified as a one of the crucial parameters with a significant influence. This article concerns the influence of the rotor resistance in a manner of simulation and how it changes with the respect to temperature.
