PATRIOT framework allows for effective automated testing of various IoT systems and applications. The main goal for the frametwork is support of automated integration testing. Framework allows for flexible configuration of completely simulated IoT testbed composing of simulated devices, mixed testbed composed from device simulations as well as actual physical IoT devices, or purely physical testbed.

PatrIoT je specializovaný framework pro automatizované integrační testování systémů Internet of Things (IoT), vyvíjený společně výzkumnou skupinou STILL na katedře počítačů ČVUT FEL a společností Red Hat Czech Republic. Součástí frameworku je několik úzce spolupracujících technických komponent, pokrývajících témata jako jsou generování kombinací testovacích dat nebo konfigurací systému k otestování, simulace konkrétních testovaných zařízení, sestavení testovacího prostředí z fyzických a simulovaných zařízení, orchestrace automatizovaných integračních testů, řízení celého procesu automatizovaných testů a další. Projekt je financovaný z grantového projektu TAČR Epsilon TH02010296 Zajištění kvality pro technologii Internet of Things.
