Parametric Array Loudspeaker transmits ultrasonic waves and creates Parametric Acoustic Array (PAA) in the audible range due to the nonlinear interactions of primary ultrasonic waves in air. In this paper, basic principles are described and experimental DSP-based Parametric Acoustic Loudspeaker using Modified Amplitude Modulation is introduced.
