Comparison of Efficiency for Synchronous Buck Converter Using Si and WBG Materials
Original language description
In this paper, the discussion is based on the comparison of Si and WBG material for synchronous buck converter. Synchronous buck converter is designed using the current mode control strategy in the MATLAB software to achieve the constant output for variable input and variable load. Hardware setup is done to achieve the output power with the input power to calculate the efficiency of converter using the SiC MOSFETs instead Si due to its properties.
