Techniques for VNIR hyperspectral macro imaging in laboratory settings

  • Original language description

Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) is a valuable tool for spectral and spatial analysis across various applications, including biological diagnostics and materials inspection. However, many laboratory-based hyperspectral systems are not optimized for close-up and macro imaging, limiting their ability to capture fine details in objects. This study investigates techniques for enhancing the laboratory-based VNIR (visible near-infrared) HSI setup for macro photography by evaluating different optical configurations and imaging parameters. In addition, it provides insight into specific factors that affect image quality and data acquisition efficiency in hyperspectral macro photography, contributing to the advancement of HSI for laboratory applications.
