    The paper reports on the properties of the optical connector using ball lenses connecting single-mode optical fibers and irradiated by gamma rays. We measured optical losses during irradiation, and we also studied the relaxation process at 1310 nm, 1383 nm, 1490 nm, 1550 nm and 1650 nm.
