    2D Analysis of Solid Iron Rotor Induction Machines

  • Original language description

    This paper presents a new 2D analytical modeling of solid iron rotor induction motors. Magnetic rotor iron saturation, skin effect, rotor curvature, and third dimension effect are considered in the 2D modeling. The analytical results for the torque at different speeds are compared with the 2D finite element method and experimental results to evaluate the accuracy of analytical modeling.
