    The coatings of the machanical parts have a great importance in the mechanical engineering. We study twu kinds of sample prepared by the PVD method, in which the thin films are deposited using the DC (direct current) sputtering with an unbalanced pulse magnetron. Namely the TiN layer on the steel 12050 is studied in connection with residual stress distribution and the machining of the substrate, CoCr and CoCrN films were deposite on the glass substrate. The composition and the grain size of the films isstudied in dependence on the condition under which the sample were prepared.

    Příspěvek shrnuje částečné výsledky dosažené při systematickém výzkumu tvrdých povlaků ve složení CoCr a CoCrN. Povlaky byly naprašovány stejnosměrným magnetronem s pulzním napájením. Cílem práce bylo stanovení předpětí na substrátu, jeho teploty a parciálního tleku dusíku na vlastnosti povlaku. Jeho parematry byly zjišťovány především metodou rentgenové difrakce.
