    Road Sign Recognition System

  • Original language description

This work details three-stage road sign recognition and classification algorithm which combines an image processing area of interest (AOI) with secondary recognition process implemented using Hierarchical Spatial Featur Matching (HSFM) as input to a nonparametric classifier. RS2 play significant role in the Driver Support System due to possibility to inform the driver in time about upcoming major decisions regarding to navigation and potentially risky traffic situation.
