New analytical design methods for digital optimal equiripple comb FiR filters are explained. the filters are optimal in Chebyshev sense. provided the folter specifications are given, number of notch-bands, the width of notch-bands and the attenuation inthe pass-band,the impulse response coefficients are evaluated through a recursive algorithm. The degree formula is also presented.
