Road tunnels consist of several very complex sub-systems, which have to be integrated in terms of telematics systems. The article describes a web-oriented tunnel safety architecture, which has been developed in the frame OPTUN project. The resultes are oriented to the praxis because they enables to equip tunnel on an optimal way.
