Original language description
The second course of physics lectured at FTS CTU is mainly based on physical problems related to basic and derivative properties of electron. Although many of these topics are supported by practical laboratory tasks, the exam results show that the students comprehend problems of electric and magnetic field with difficulties. Our new laboratory task should demonstrate the effect of Lorenz force in a simple way. The physical task dealing with electron specific charge is very simple and could contribute tocomprehend many principles of electric and magnetic field. We suppose that this experiment will positively fill up the blind spots in education and due to simple demonstration also attract the students' interest to applied physics.
