    The paper deals with the application of genetic and evolutionary algorithms behaviours and features analysis from the viewpoint of mechanics and especially energy. The paper analyses differences between implementations of three basic operators - mutation, crossover and intelligent crossover. Two different energies are recognised - potential and kinetic. Potential one is equal to fitness function in the case of maxima search and distance to maxima in the case of minima search. Kinetic energy is calculated from the movement the state space, speed on the base of jump length.
