Testing of Drivers with Parkinsonian's Disease

Original language description

Progression of Parkinson's disease leads to the reduction of mobility. Patients are strongly dependent on using cars. But in the late phase of disease patient is not able to lead safely the car on road. There is very difficult for neurologists to estimate this "critical point" from physiological data. The two methods are submitted in this contribution for objective evaluation of driving abilities. One is based on measuring of step response of a driver, second evaluates trajectory of a car measured on the car simulator.
