Advanced methods for improvement of driver resistance to attention decreases
Original language description
The faults in reliability of driver interactions with vehicle moving on the road causes daily many accidents, which project in the yearly statistics of EU in the lost of more than 20000 lives and price of more than 100 billion Euro. Unfortunately these tremendous figures still increase. In general this represents about one halve from all road transportation losses. When analyzing their reasons one finds the respective events they can be divided in the following 5 main categories: - Accidents caused by natural decreases of driver attention, - Accidents caused by negative impacts of in vehicle cockpit installed assistance systems or their alliances, - Accidents caused by environmental influences in driver attention, - Accidents caused by impact of alcohol or other drugs on driver, - Accidents caused by driver non-tolerant or aggressive behavior.
