Self-organization in transportation and its measuring
Original language description
Transport control and transport modelling is going through rapid development. Sometimes the aspect of transport being based on individual drivers' decision making is omitted. This aspect is not so easily to be described but it has important influence onthe resulting traffic situations. One possibility how to evaluate the situation in traffic is to use parameter describing amount of organization related to the desired optimal state of the system. In this paper a method for enumerating amount of organization in traffic system is proposed, that can be used for describing self-organizing tendencies in the system.
