Original language description
The article presents a model of neuron that is able to find its homeostatic position during the process of learning. The learning phase is autonomous; there is no teacher or superior structure. The basic idea is that the neuron is maximizing its importance for other neuons. The neuron is able to change its parameters in a way that increases its weight for the whole network. Basic theory and results of some tests are described.
