The paper is presented and analyzed alternative railway routes for combined transport with connection to European seaports that, from the viewpoint of storage capacity, are considered to be minor ports, but are characterized by a substantial increase inreloading. An analysis is provided of current trends and cooperation in European seaports in connection with inland railway transport in Europe and the Czech Republic, and also concrete analysis is performed of container flow and potential ports, with analysis of the potential for connecting the Czech Republic to the European networks of combined transport trains.
