Simulation of Operation Concept under Reduced Railway Infrastructure Capacity
Original language description
Long-term maintenance, renewal or upgrading works on the multiple-track line infrastructure are usually accompanied with temporary track closure or single-track sections. The capacity of the traffic route is heavy reduced and often there is not enough capacity for current trains. The reduce infrastructure capacity sections also changed in time due to progress of work. With the knowledge of distributing delays between trains from different lines this project have to try evaluate train-traffic diagram forwhole engineering works with specific action in various reduce infrastructure capacity situations and try to reduce influence of delays and irregularities. A concrete simulation in swiss program OpenTrack is placed on railway track Praha - Kolín duringrenewal works. The aim is to present simulation-tested supposed railway operation model, so that delays will be minimized with high accuracy and timetable stability and reliability will be preserved for all phases of engineering wo
