Specific telecommunications solutions for ITS applications
Original language description
Intelligent Transport Systems solutions expect availability of the secure seamless communications solutions typically covering widely spread areas. Extensive range of wireless data services with reasonable coverage provided by public wireless services operators mostly does not guarantee relevant range of quality and security. ITS cost-effective telecommunication mobile solution can be based on combination of the both public as well as private services if relevant flexible system architecture supported by the efficient decision processes is adopted. ITS specific service security requirements cannot be underestimated, as well. In case the C2I (Car to Infrastructure) and C2C (Car to Car) communication tool are interconnected with the vehicle CAN (Controlled Area Network) based network than intruders´ attacks probability significantly grows. It can be critical problem namely if the relevant ITS data are applied via the wide area networks. That is also the main reason why relevant telecommu
