The paper discusses the identification of persons older than 65 years (seniors) with biometric identifiers. Compares the possibility of using the most commonly used biometric methods in the Czech Republic and in the world in terms of seniors and identifies possible complications of the use of methods to identify users in this age group. The article specifically focuses on the issue of identification of seniors by structure of veins on the wrist, analyzes the problems of seniors taking samples (due to age, medications). Finally, outlines the future direction of research on this topic.
