    Proposal of Genetic Operators for Solving Transportation Problems

    The article concerns the appropriate design of genetic operators for selected transportation problems. In tasks regarding the TSP problem, VRP problem and location tasks the genetic algorithm has been proposed in several crossover and mutation variants,with an extended variant with/without elitism. The setting of the input parameters is in general a problematic point in metaheuristic methods, i.e. the choice of correct coding of the individuals in order for them to be able to carry the necessary information and for the algorithm to be able to work easily with it.
