The paper will address the influence of macroeconomic indicators on the development of passenger air transportation in years 2010?2012 with the future development for the next 20 years. Passenger air transportation is an extremely competitive environmentthat is highly influenced not only by current petrol market price movements, which is almost unpredictable in the last five years, but also by various uneconomic factors, such as global security situation. Prognosis of future trends will be outlined upon recent year data analysis. What kind of impact do all the above facts mean to passengers? Whether positive or negative? This paper aims to identify the factors influencing the above mentioned elements and their impact on current development of passenger air transportation.
