  • Original language description

    The aim of this work was to develop a numerical model of motorcycle helmet simulating the impact of motorcycle helmet to the planar surce at different angles. A 3D handheld scanner was created to obtain the geometrical model of motorcycle helmet. The MKPmodel was created from the geometric model in ANSYS ICEM CFD. Material properties to this model were assigned in the LS-PrePost. Simulation of drop test was realised in LS-DYNA solver. The problems of motorcycle helmets testing in Europe is adjusted bythe ECE 22-05 standard. The standard primarily determines how to make drop tests.
