In recent years a new term of Safety Management System (SMS) has been introduced into aviation legislation. This system is being adopted by airline operators. One of the ground-based actors of everyday operations is Operations Control Centre (OCC). The goal of this article has been to identify and assess risks and dangers which occur at OCC and create a template for OCC implementation into SMS.
