Meteorological services in aviation are governed by Annex 3 ICAO"Meteorological Services for Air Navigation". It contains the definedsecurity requirements, which allow pilots to the realization of flight.More fundamental changes have occurred in the meteorologicalreporting. Greater emphasis is placed on warning weather service.Gradually, it is being updated radar technology to detectmeteorological targets. From space weather monitoring is providedby geostationary satellite MSG2 (second generation) and advancedNOAA with a polar flight path. Aerological measurements weresignificantly modernized. Processing of meteorological informationusing mathematical models is also available to the public on awebsite.
