    Application of the Traffic Conflict Technique in the Czech Republic

    The paper presents the methodology for application of traffic conflict technique in Czech Republic and aims to answer the question are traffic conflicts good estimators of road accident. The results of traffic conflict observations are used to diagnose safety and operational problems and to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments. We applied traffic conflict technique to estimate the traffic safety at uncontrolled intersections (roundabouts).
