The work offers a new seven frame phase shifting algorithm for phase calculation. This algorithm assumes constant, but unknown phase shifts between individual intensity frames. The described phase shifting algorithm is insensitive to linear errors induced by the phase shifting device. The advantage of this calculation algorithm is the possibility to evaluate phase shift during the measurement and to calibrate phase shifting device. The proposed algorithm can be used in any measurement method that uses phase shifting
