    The character of neutrinos, their masses and their mixing are fundamental questions of contemporary neutrino physics. The main goal of the NEMO3 experiment is to study neutrinoless double beta decay to a half-life limit of 1025 years. The official inauguration of the NEMO3 experiment and the start of data acquisition are scheduled for February 2002.
