Properties and Reactivity of NiO-ZnO mixed Oxides Differing in Their Origin
Original language description
Two series of NiO-ZnO mixed oxides prepared from a) powdery NiO oxide and the solution of Zn(NO3)2 and b) powdery ZnO oxide and the solution of Ni(NO3)2 were studied. Parts of them were irradiated with 60Co gamma rays or with accelerated electrons. It was found that the character of precursors used for preparation may affect significantly the reactivity of the final oxides. The irradiation of the mixed oxides leads to an increase in the content of chemisorbed oxygen. The sensitivity to irradiation was found to be different with the both series under study, too
