Original language description
Q-switching of mid-infrared Er:YAG laser was obtained with an electro-optical shutter. The resulted giant pulse length and energy was 60 ns and 55 mJ, respectively. Problem of mid-infrared giant pulse delivery was solved by a specially designed cyclic olefin polymer coated silver hollow glass waveguide.

Czech description
Q-spínání středně infračerveného Er:YAG laseru bylo dosaženo pomocí elektro-optické uzávěrky. Výsledný gigantický puls měl délku 60 ns a energii 55 mJ. Přenos tohoto pulsu byl vyřešen speciálně navrženým dutým skleněným vlnovodem se stříbrnou vrstvou pokrytou cyklickým olefinovým polymerem.
