Interaction of Three Micron Radiation with Ureter Tissue
Original language description
For in vitro interaction experiment of three micron radiation with the urology tissue, the samples of fresh human ureter with the thickness of 1-2 mm were used. Maximum Er:YAG laser radiation (wavelength 2.94 um) interaction intensity was 130 kW/cm2 and111MW/cm2 for free running, and Q-switch laser regime, respectively. The ablation threshold for ureter tissue in the case of giant Er:YAG pulses application was found lower and the ablation rate was higher than for free-running Er:YAG laser radiation ablation.
