Abundances of humate complexes of thorium and the mean electrophoretic mobilities of the complexes, at pH 2-4 in solutions of 0.01M (HClO4 + NaClO4) containing Aldrich humic acid (HA), were calculated from the electrophoretic mobilities of 234Th towardscathode and anode, respectively. The abundances higher than 90% were found except for cases when the loading of HA with thorium was close to the saturation of binding capacity of HA. The mobilities of ThHA complexes only towards anode were observed, i.e.no positively charged complexes were formed.

Na základě poklesu elektroforetické pohyblivosti 234Th ke katodě přídavkem huminové kyseliny Aldrich (HA) bylo vypočteno zastoupení komplexů ThHA a z pohyblivosti 234Th k anodě byla stanovena střední pohyblivost těchto komplexů v roztocích 0.01M (HClO4 +NaClO4) o pH 2-4. Bylo zjištěno, že toto zastoupení je větší než 90% s výjimkou případů, kdy obsazení HA thoriem se blíží nasycení komplexační kapacity HA. Ve všech případech komplexy ThHA migrovaly pouze k anodě, tj. nebyl pozorován vznik kladně nabitých komplexů.
