    Electron Bunch Acceleration and Trapping by Ponderomotive Force of an Intense Short-pulse Laser

    Electron ponderomotive acceleration by a short-pulsed laser of TEM (1, 0) and TEM (0, 1) mode is studied using a 3-dimensional particle simulation. It was found that the laser can trap electrons in transverse and accelerate them with the longitudinal ponderomotive force at the same time. The properties of this accelerated bunch are improved compared with that generated by the laser of TEM (0, 0) mode.

    Ponderomotorické urychlování elektronů krátkým pulsem laseru s módy TEM (1, 0) a TEM (0, 1) je studováno pomocí třídimensionálního částicového kódu. Bylo zjištěno, že laser může elektrony zachytit v příčném směru a zároveň je urychlit podélnou ponderomotorickou silou. Vlastnosti urychleného mikrosvazku jsou lepší než u laseru s TEM (0, 0) módem.
