Influence of High Temperature Degradation on Fatigue Crack Growth in Cr-Mo Tube Steels
Original language description
In chemical and power engineering, tube systems are exposed to complex mechanical loading, high temperature, corrosion environment, etc. Long-time influence and interaction of severe conditions can result in the degradation of crucial properties of structural materials. Experimental research was aimed to the study of fatigue properties of three chrome-molybdenum steels: P91, ČSN 15 313 and N10 (21CrVMoW12). CT-specimens were cut out from thick-walled tubes. Materials of the tubes were tested in two different stages - original (without degradation), and degraded. Besides the material state and stress ratio, also orientation and location of specimens in the tube wall were under study, but the influence of these factors on fatigue crack growth was negligible. Fractographic analysis of the fatigued specimens was carried out.

Vliv vysokoteplotní degradace na šíření únavových trhlin v Cr-Mo ocelích používaných na výrobu potrubí
